These exposure logsheet lines will exercise the COSTAR/FOC alignment capabilities, emulating a COSTAR/FOC SMOV alignment. The alignment begins with an interactive target aquisition followed by an FOC image to confirm the target position. Next, a real-time uplink is specified to move the FOC M1 FOCUS mechanism to its SMGT start position. Then a series of COSTAR DOB movements are executed via stored commands at +/-150. +/-75, and 0 steps from the nominal DOB position. Each DOB movement is followed by an FOC image. The last exposure line supplies a real-time uplink to move the DOB via real-time commands to the pretest FOC focus position. COSTAR/FOS Focus Alignment (Lines 101-199) -------------------------- SU 05 = Lines 130-195. SU 08 = Line 199. These exposure logsheet lines will exercise the COSTAR/FOS alignment capabilities, emulating a COSTAR/FOS SMOV alignment. The alignment begins with an onboard target aquisition followed by an FOS image to confirm the target position. Next, a real-time uplink is specified to move the FOS M1 FOCUS mechanism to its SMGT start position. These exposure logsheet lines will exercise the COSTAR/FOS alignment capabilities, emulating a COSTAR/FOS SMOV x-tilt and y-tilt alignment scan. COSTAR Mechanism Monitoring (Lines 601-699) --------------------------- SU 0P = Lines 610-640. These exposure logsheet lines will enable COSTAR's mechanism position sensors via stored commanding and exercise mechanism monitoring procedures in a method analogous to on-orbit (SMOV) procedures. COSTAR Arm Deploy (Lines 700-799) ----------------- SU 0Q = Lines 700-790. These exposure logsheet lines will exercise the COSTAR capability to deploy it's mirror arms. The DOB will be deployed using realtime commanding. After each mirror arm deploy, realtime commanding will be used to set the DOB position low safing limit. Real-time commanding will also be required to set event flag 15 to allow stored commanding to perform the arm deploy. The arm deploy sequence must be in the following order: step 1 - move DOB to the FOS safe position, deploy - FOS/M2 arm, move DOB to a nominal position. step 2 - deploy FOC/M2, deploy FOC/M1 step 3 - deploy HRS/M2 step 4 - enable arm heaters COSTAR Safing and Recovery (Lines 800-899) -------------------------- SU 0R = Lines 800. SU 0S = Lines 810. SU 0T = Lines 820. SU 0U = Lines 830. These exposure logsheet lines will exercise the COSTAR safing and safing recovery sequences. Safing will be initiated and the instrument will be configured to OFFLINE mode. COSTAR will then be recovered from safe and configured to HOLD. . COSTAR Arm Retract (Lines 900-999) ---------- -------- SU 0V = Line 900. This exposure logsheet line will be used to load the RTCS's which will be used by the ground to retract the mirror arms.
